We hope you and your families are keeping well and safe. We are obviously extremely sorry not to have been able to see our customers or arrange any wine tastings over the past few months, but thank everyone for their continuing support. It is greatly appreciated. We know that many of you have been tempted by our mixed case offers and we hope you have enjoyed the wines. Although we are happy to be able to open the shop, it is obviously still not possible to get together for a tasting, but we are delighted to invite you to Zoom your way to Catalonia to meet Mestres! Founded in 1312, today the 29th generation follow the same path set by their predecessors, specialising in sensational Gran Reserva Cava. David Aura Font, has kindly agreed to host a very special tasting from deep within the family's barrel cellar and give you a glimpse of this amazing estate. We are offering the opportunity to taste together, the 2012 Visol and 2008 Clos Nostre Senyor, whilst David will provide an insight into the history of his family's estate, their philosophy and their exceptional expertise, which make the wines of Mestres so magical. This special Zoom tasting will be held on Wednesday July 8th, commencing at 7.00 pm. We are pleased to offer the wines at a special discount of 2012 Visol - Normal Retail £26.41/Special Zoom Discount - £20.25 2008 Clos Nostre Senyor - Norma Retail £33.32/Special Zoom Discount - £26.00 (Plus delivery @ £9.90 if applicable) The wines will also be available to collect from the Nottingham shop. We will ideally require all acceptances by Monday 22nd June, to ensure that the wines reach you in good time. On receipt of your acceptance, we will provide you with the necessary link and password to join the tasting and arrange delivery of the wines. As this is our first wine Zoom, we are limiting places, so please respond quickly to avoid disappointment. I do hope that you are able to join us for what promises to be, a very 'sparkling' Zoom!
