2018 Anjou Blanc ‘P’tit Chenin’, Chateau Roulerie - £15.70 Per Bottle

Lovely ripeness of fruit on the nose which is slightly honeyed. Surprising intensity and complexity on the palate for a wine at this level, with a lovely richness of ripe, honeyed apricot fruits, harmoniously balanced by a refreshing, vibrant acidity. This delicious Ptit Chenin has a grand character and a real touch of class. The Ptit Chenin is the perfect wine to enjoy by the glass, as an aperitif, or to partner fish and chicken dishes.

2017 Vin de Pays ‘Sauvignon Blanc’, Domaine des Forges - £11.65 Per Bottle

Stephane Branchereau of Domaine des Forges is one of the most talented and highly respected producers of the wonderfully luscious, Coteaux du Layon wines. However, he also produces a range of really expressive and beautifully balanced dry white and red wines, which offer truly exceptional value! The Sauvignon has lovely fresh, crisp aromatics, and wet stone minerality. A ‘mini’ Sancerre!

2018 Anjou Rouge, Domaine des Forges - £11.75 Per Bottle

Stephane’s lovely Anjou Rouge is a delicious and delightfully harmonious, Cabernet Franc with super black fruits. Vinified in tank it has a lovely purity of fruit and vibrant character, perfect for a summer lunch.

2020 Fleur d’Eglantine Rosé, Chateau Mourgues du Grés - £14.00 Per Bottle

Produced from our beloved, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre blend, that is responsible for many of the unctuously, full bodied, red wines of the Southern Rhone, one might be forgiven for expecting this rose to be overtly rich and powerful. In complete contrast however, the Fleur d’Eglantine, is a deliciously delicate and vibrant rose, with fabulous freshness and finesse. With an attractively subtle colour in the glass and a fragrant bouquet, delicately floral with red berry fruits and hints of mineral. Dry on the palate, with delicious red berry/strawberry and red currants, with fine, saline minerality, balanced by a refreshing lift of acidity. Lovely focus, vibrancy and finesse. Delicious on its own and perfect with grilled fish, chicken, pork and vegetable dishes or summer salads.

2019 Galets Rouge, Chateau Mourgues du Grés – £14.00 Per Bottle

A profound and vibrant nose, with notes of blackberries and crisp blackcurrant. The palate is generous and gourmand and wonderfully smooth. Juicy ripe tannins accompany a delicious array of red berries, liquorice and violets. All rounded with a mineral, pure and long finish.
