Perles Fines de Coing Sparkling

Produced by the exceptional Veronique Gunther of Chateau du Coing in Muscadet, the Perle Fine, with its notes of white flowers offers the lightness and vibrancy of a Prosecco, with subtle brioche nuances of a true Champagne. Instantly appealing, surprisingly sophisticated and exceptional value!

2015 Cava Gran Reserva Premium 'Coquet'

A beautiful Gran Reserva Cava with 42 months of ageing on its lees. Straw yellow, clear and bright in the glass. The bubbles are incredibly fine, integrated and persistent. The primary aromas of white fruit (white peach and pear) and flowers burst from the glass. On the palate, gorgeous ripe citrus fruits come through alongside creamy notes of fine pastries, roasted almonds. It is very refined and mineral with a lively acidic lift to maintain freshness. The finish is long and clean.

2018 Cremant d'Alsace

A sumptuous blend of 50% Pinot Auxerrois, 30% Pinot Blanc and 20% Pinot Noir. The nose is enticing and deep, alluring you with ripe white peach, quince and delicious creamy notes. The palate is broad and rich, with pear, peach and yellow fruits, brioche, unctuous rounding acidity and a charmingly fine and persistent mousse. It is also wonderfully mineral and refined. A more affordable alternative to Champagne but just as distinguished. A pure delight!

NV Premier Cru Champagne ‘Grande Reserve’

Laurent's entry level Champagne is the only one dominated by Pinot Noir. However, it is a great introduction to Laurent’s style and Vilmart’s class really shines through. It displays a surprising degree of lees autolysis in the nose, joined by smoky and chalky nuances that come out more emphatically on the silken, finely effervescent palate. Suggestions of jellied red currant along with apple and lemon as well as a faint aura of barrel put me a bit in mind of Chassagne-Montrachet. This finishes with bursting brightness, ringing clarity, mouthwatering salinity, cheek-pinching piquancy, and consummate refreshment. It should fare deliciously for at least the one or two years.

Organic Prosecco

The Elusia wines represent the very best of the Italian organic winemaking art. Based in and around Jesolo, a Province of Venezia in Veneto, North West Italy. The utmost care is given to the environment and the organically grown ‘Glera’ grapes, unencumbered by chemicals, are able to reach wonderful levels of ripeness and natural balance. In today’s market, their basic Prosecco represents excellent value for money. Many Proseccos around can either fall into the category of ‘insipidly neutral’ or ‘overly cloying’ with an over presence of sugar. The Elusia organic Prosecco confidently swerves both potential pit falls. It possesses lovely ripe fruit, with its palate evoking mouth-watering green apple and pear fruits alongside a subtle creaminess and pleasant tinge of honeydew. The mousse is fine and persistent whilst the pleasant balancing acidity gives a real lift and vibrance to the fruit. All round there is just a superb balance to this Prosecco, it is elegant, well rounded, refreshing and has a long clean finish. Perfect for all manner of occasions and social events, it works well as an appetizer and is also a fine partner to a variety of fish and vegetable dishes.

Cremant de Loire

With its chalk-based soils, akin to those of Champagne, Saumur has a renowned reputation for its Methode Champenoise, sparkling wines. Arnaud Lambert is one of the region’s most talented and inspiring producers. This wonderfully crisp, dry Cremant, is produced from 80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Chardonnay and aged some 30 months sur latte. Due to the nature of the limestone of Breze and St. Cyr en Bourg, the wines possess a fabulous natural acidity, which Arnaud masters superbly, creating a wine of enticing harmony and stylish precision.
