The delicious 2021 Pinot Auxerrois and 2019 Gewurztraminer ‘Cuvée Caroline’ are sublime expressions of each varietal, and also act as the perfect gateway into the wines from one of the most consistent producers in the region. 2021 Pinot Auxerrois
The 2019 Pinot Auxerrois “Vieilles Vignes” is made from a blend of Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois, from over fifty-year-old vines. The bouquet is enticingly intense with an expressive and ripe bouquet of apples, peaches and a variety of floral scents. The palate is simply delicious, its full-bodied weight and richness harmoniously balanced with a vibrancy from the zesty acidity. The fruit is fabulous: juicy, dense and focused, with an attractive sweetness and accompanied by an assortment of delicate sweet spices. Dry on the palate, the finish is succulent, uplifting, clean and long. A truly gorgeous Pinot Auxerrois.
2019 Gewurztraminer ‘Cuvée Caroline’
Bright gold in the glass, this is a classic and expressive Gewurztraminer, from the old vines of the ‘Harth’ Lieu-Dit. It has a fabulous concentration, with scents of rose and Turkish Delight shining through on the nose. The palate is delightfully ‘gourmand’, with enticing hints of Turkish Delight again, combined with lychee, orange pith, tea, ginger, and even Christmas pudding. As usual for the variety, the residual is 25 g/l here, but the balance is beautiful; with great levity, focus and finesse on a delightfully clean and fresh finish.

Click and collect not available for wine
Wine is shipped directly from our bonded warehouse so unfortunately you can't use Click and Collect for wine.
Delivery options
At the checkout you can leave instructions for the courier to deliver to a neighbours address or left in a safe place around your home if you are out. You can also send to an alternative address such as your work.

Delivery outside the UK
For all delivery destinations outside of the UK - although your order is not subject to UK VAT it will be subject to the local taxes and duties of your country. These charges are usually levied once the package reaches your country.
