Savennieres Maitre de Chais 2015
The sensational Cuvee Maitre du Chais 2015, is a real revelation. This superb Savennieres was the 'baby' of Epire's cellar master Christophe. Produced from carefully selected grapes from their best plots, like Vilmart's Coeur de Cuvee, the first pressed juice is set aside, so that only the 'heart of the cuvee' is retained. This is transferred into a single accacia cask to begin its slow fermentation, with natural yeasts. There is obviously no malo-lactic fermentation to ensure that the Savennieres' mineralitly is retained and it is left to age 'sur lie'. A wine of minimum intervention, but nonetheless having received extra special care and attention from the doting Christophe. This really is an exceptional Savennieres, with the same line and mineral expression as the Cuvee Speciale, but with a much greater intensity, gras and length. The balance here is perfect. Unfortunately, as with all good things, quantities are rather limited, so grab this one whilst you can!

Click and collect not available for wine
Wine is shipped directly from our bonded warehouse so unfortunately you can't use Click and Collect for wine.
Delivery options
At the checkout you can leave instructions for the courier to deliver to a neighbours address or left in a safe place around your home if you are out. You can also send to an alternative address such as your work.

Delivery outside the UK
For all delivery destinations outside of the UK - although your order is not subject to UK VAT it will be subject to the local taxes and duties of your country. These charges are usually levied once the package reaches your country.
