Domaine Loic Mahé and Domaine Marie and Pascale Lambert are without a doubt two of the finest producers in the Loire today. At the forefront of the organic and biodynamic movement in the region, both of these producers epitomise the power and potential of low intervention, natural winemaking practises. They produce fabulously balanced and focused wines, with exceptional depth, energy, life and finesse.

Loic’s ‘Petit Moulin’ is produced from Anjou Chenin, grown outside the appellation of Savennieres, fermented naturally in small tank and aged on the fine lies for 18 months. Bright, pale gold in the glass with wonderfully vibrant, apricot and quince fruits. Possessing the same poise and purity, as Loic’s top cuvées, this is a beautifully expressive Chenin, exhibiting wonderful refinement harmony of fruit, minerality and acidity. Very stylish and delicious! Lambert’s ‘Les Terrasses’ is a delicious introduction to their range of remarkable Chinon’s. A pronounced and brilliant purple with a fine bouquet of very ripe red fruits (redcurrants and rasperberries). A this is an unctuous, gourmet wine, with a lively palate; full of juicy and crunchy fruits and light, velvety tannins. Lovely energy and life on the palate, with exquisite length.
