2018 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Le Cuvee Papet
Like the Centenaire cuvee this 100 year old vine cuvee is one of the finest wines produced in the area. This colour is even deeper and more profound than the regular Chateauneuf. Lovely bouquet – intense ripe, pure and harmonious with real depth and aromas of cassis, kirsch, black fruits and spices. The palate echoes the nose here, with really impressive concentration and complexity yet still retaining great focus and fine balance. Superb length with a lovely freshness/elegance at end to end. Great potential for longevity. Velvety and mouth-filling with a glorious array of flavours and textures. Again, so Burgundian in style. Delicious.
2022 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc ‘Clos du Mont Olivet’
The 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc from Clos du Mont Olivet brings together crisp flavours of pear and pineapple, accompanied by a delightful hint of creaminess on the medium to full-bodied palate. The wine concludes with a textured, lively and lingering finish.
