Domaine Blaise Duboux

Blaise Duboux, winemaker and oenological engineer graduate of HES-SO, lives and works in Epesses, amid the UNESCO World Heritage site (2007) of the vineyards of Lavaux. Impassioned by both the vine and the wine, he is also a consultant for viticulture and oenology in Switzerland and abroad.

His philosophy is – respect for the product, its land and its environment.

Driven by a strong work ethic and reverence for the earth, Blaise works, season after season, to give birth to wines that faithfully reflect the unique characteristics of each vintage and the specific strengths of each terroir.

A believer in applied biodynamic agricultural practices and ever mindful of the lunar calendar, Blaise, an engineer by training, has earned an outstanding reputation as a strong supporter of biodynamics in a few short years. He devotes the same rigour and attention to the vines (organic cultivation with no chemical residues) and the wine cellar (minimal use of sulphites, little or no filtering, no oenological products). The result is texturally rich wines that express a mineral foundation, reflecting with their finesse the authenticity of their terroir.

Viticulture methods that are particularly respectful of the environment have gained Domaine Blaise Duboux the prestigious Vinatura® Label, awarded only to those wines created with integrated cultivation and production methods.
