Tenuta Olim Bauda

Tenuta Olim Bauda is run by three siblings, Dino, Diana and Gianni who in 2000, decided to try to revive the fortune of their family’s estate. The Tenuta had spent 15 years closed down following the death of their father in 1985 when they were very young. Since then, and with some help from the famous consultant Beppe Caviola, along with expanding their territory and investing in another prime site in the Gavi di Gavi DOC, they have managed to re-establish Tenuta Olim Bauda as one of Piedmont’s top producers. They are determined to create fresh, expressive Barbera d’Asti and clean, pure and scintillating Gavi in the most delicate low interventionist way. The Gavi di Gavi they produce is truly stunning. The elegant Cortese grapes are grown on the vineyards of San Martino farmhouse in the community of Gavi, and only the highest quality are selected to produce this wonderful wine. A fine bouquet of good intensity and persistence with floral notes, Olim Bauda's Gavi di Gavi is fresh, soft, harmonious and has a delightful finish.
