The easy-drinking 2021 Cortona Syrah Linfa is a rich and vinous wine with plenty of raw fruit and dark intensity. Bright, punchy and effusive, the Linfa is bursting with fruit. There is a feeling of joy to this wine that is hard to describe, but that comes through loud and clear. Aging in terracotta works beautifully in emphasizing the purity of this fruit.

Clear ruby in the glass, the wine smells of withered violets, a beautiful plant of fern and woodland scrub, dark fruit of currants and blackberries, aromatic herbs such as thyme and bay leaves, liquorice root and a gentle spicy base. Soft taste, moderate alcoholic heat, pleasantly fresh, plush tannins, closes with good overall balance.
