This is another absolutely stunning cuvée from Costa Lima made exclusively from Moscatel Roxo de Setubal, and this vintage was the recipient of the highest awarded scores at the Muscat du Monde in 2022.

After a short fermentation period in contact with the grape skins, the process is interrupted by the addition of grape spirit. The wine then macerates a further 6 months for full extraction of aromas and flavour before taking its 4-year rest in oak barrels.

This Moscatel has a deep dark amber hue in the glass. Incredibly fragrant and exotic, you will get sensations of oranges, figs, prunes, raisins, roses, honey and caramel notes as well as some gentle vanilla spice. The palate is absolutely perfect balanced, never cloying, whilst remaining dense, luscious and uplifting with a great acidic line. As you would hope for and expect, the length is to die for. Stunning!

This will pair wonderfully with a huge range of desserts, from tropical fruit, to strong cheeses and chocolatey delights.
