Red & White Burgundy Food Pairing Duo
A great Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Burgundy, makes for a perfect combination at any time of year, but the pairing is particularly special during the festive season. So, if you would like to be transported to the vineyards of Burgundy this Christmas whilst you enjoy your roast Turkey, this is complementary pair of beautiful Bourgognes from Moissenet Bonnard are for you!
First up we have the 100% Chardonnay Beaune Blanc ‘Montée Rouge’, which is a delightfully delicate Beaune, with a floral nose (white flowers, acacia, honeysuckle), notes of fresh almonds and slightly spicy (cinnamon) accents. A glistening pale gold in colour, the palate is alluring, silky and very delicately textured, with peaches and nectarines coming through. The mouth feel is buttery smooth and the finish is clean and long. Secondly, we have the 100% Pinot Noir Beaune ‘Montée Rouge’: This brilliant ruby-red Beaune has a seductive nose, singing with delicious summer fruit (cherries, raspberries, blackcurrants). The palate has a wonderful intensity and attack, whilst remaining silky smooth and refined. Enticing notes of rasperberries, kirsch and spices (paprika, gunflint, grey pepper) sing through clean and harmoniously integrated and balanced.

Delivery outside the UK
For all delivery destinations outside of the UK - although your order is not subject to UK VAT it will be subject to the local taxes and duties of your country.
