We have always been enthralled by the many different cuvées of Savigny, beautifully portraying their individual expressions of terroir. Indeed, for us, Savigny les Beaune has always been to Burgundy, what St. Joseph is to the northern Rhone, an often-overlooked appellation, which is able to produce great wines at relatively reasonable prices. Jean-Michel Giboulot produces exceptionally fine wines, which also represent excellent value. The 2012 Grands Liards, is an absolute delight, with lovely fruit, elegant balance and showcases the exceptional quality/value that can be found in Savigny. The terroir here gives the wine a wonderful finesse. The profile sings with fresh blackberry and raspberry fruit with a subtle meaty character and super Savigny minerality. There is a serious structure here which is perfectly balanced by racy acidity. The finish is long and elegant.

Wine is shipped directly from our bonded warehouse so unfortunately you can't use Click and Collect for wine.

Delivery outside the UK
For all delivery destinations outside of the UK - although your order is not subject to UK VAT it will be subject to the local taxes and duties of your country.
